Getting my butt moving outside with some light exercise in the sun while Oliver sleeps in the stroller. I’m finally getting those happy feelings back again (baby blues really got me down, I was so flat 😩) thanks to a couple of hours more of sleep per night and my afternoon neighbourhood strolls — I swear SUN and afternoon strolls has helped me so much! Still can’t wear tight activewear around my C section incision cause it’s still healing and tender, so I’ve been living in these super soft high waisted @ALO Yoga pants and lots of milk drenched flowy dresses 😂. BTW some of you have been asking how @sportethefrenchie (my dog) is going with Oliver now part of the family. Well ummmm, he’s ok, just peeing everywhere 🤬. I think I need to pay him more attention! Any dog advice greatly appreciated pleaseeeeeee! #baby #newborn #momlife #csection

As a mother of four, and pet parent myself....trust me, I’ve been there!! Sporte is obviously reacting to the change but he will eventually get used to it. Definitely give him as much attention and continue to do the same things you were doing w him regularly. Some dogs are more adaptable to change than others. You don’t want to throw too much changes around. You look amazing post partum! And I’m so sorry to hear about the baby blues. Been there. And getting out and doing “normal” things REALLY helps. A strong support system does too. Very strange but your delivery story is almost exactly what happened to me for my first. Except I was induced and had an emergency c-Sec (totally unplanned and unprepared for!) after 6 hours of labor. All of that contributed to the blues that followed. You will get over it and life will normalize soon. Hang in there! 💗 Also, those belly bands are REALLY effective. I was wrapped up at the hospital and continued to wear my belly wrap for months. It really helped my middle snap back faster. When I stopped wearing it, it loosened up again 🙃 but you’re a healthy, and strong woman...I have no doubt you’ll be back to your old self in no time!!! 💗💗💗

Congrats B and Simon. Oliver is beautiful..My boy Toby 🐶 did the same thing (I had a baby girl in May), had never peed Anywhere before this, nursery and our bedroom on new rugs. I had to give him attention when Freja was sleeping, greet him in the morning etc ha.. he was just a bit confused.. don had to give him more attention. She is almost 13 weeks now, the peeing was only the first 3 weeks.. we ignored him when he did it, he wanted a response from us (did it in front of us).. I’m prob a bad advisor as I had and still have him on me and her while breastfeeding haha xx

You’re doing great! 💕 As for pups that get out is sorts.. when our daughter was a newborn we went out of our way to pay attention to our two dogs when she WAS around. Any research I did on the topic said that was important - for dogs to get attention even when the baby was around - whether it’s just a pat or praising them with your voice.. cuz let’s face it hands free isn’t mich of a thing at this stage. Hope this helps! ☺️

Dogs really do get jealous when you redirect your attention...what I did was have my dog feel like she was protecting my newborn so it refocused her position in my household and then she grew to love my son more than she loved me☺️...and you’re glowing so beautifully🤗

@biancamaycheah for sure! Funnily enough my boy is way more jealous than my girl. She is happy to just sit by us. But I just remind myself it’s a moment in time and I’ll have my hands a little less full soon

@superivy001 they’re by @aloyoga, they don’t reshape the belly, but rather are super comfy, high waisted and don’t sit in my C section incision line. Perfect for low C section recovering bodies :)
