He’s finally here 😭
The past week has been one of the toughest I’ve ever had and I could not have done it without the support from my husband, mother and best friend @chloemorello who were all taking turns in supporting me. I’m not sure if any of you have seen my BIRTH story highlight that I’ve shared — please watch. My birth plan didn’t quite go as I had planned as a vaginal, positive birth experience with no epidural. But I want all mom-to-bes out there to know that a healthy non-stressed baby is e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. You can’t control situations that are out of your hands.
I endured 44 hours of labour only dilating to 1cm with no epidural with horrific consistent lower back pain. I had even been given numerous rounds of inducing at the highest level with no success 😓. My body was just not co-operating with the birth no matter everything we tried, science and all. A C-section was the inevitable and it’s all in my birth Instagram story highlight.
In the end, Baby Chalmers was stuck in my pelvis. I would never have been able to go through with the vaginal delivery even if I had persisted. Sometimes things just aren’t meant to happen. He was pulled out a healthy 9 pounds and 52 cms long! Our perfect little burrito.

Started following you after seeing some of your story on Chloe’s IG account. You can ask her, I promise I’m an ok person! I did watch your birth story and I’m telling you as a Labor and Delivery RN , and a Momma of 5 babies born by C-section, you were AMAZING and I applaud your medical team for supporting your choices and plans for delivery. You grew a beautiful, healthy, 9lb baby boy and in the end, it doesn’t matter how he came into the world just that he arrived healthy. I can honestly relate to your whole birth experience. My first son did the same thing yours did! Totally stuck and never coming out from “down below”. He was 9lbs-4oz. Once I held him in my arms, I could’ve cared less how he entered the world. The rest of my boys were all 8-9lbs and 20” long. My last one though, really topped the scales. He was 10lbs-4oz and 22” long. Frankly, I was just grateful that the option for a C-section was available! I never would’ve been able to have babies in the “olden days”. I’m sorry for going on and on but I just want you to know what a beautiful inspiration you’ve been throughout your pregnancy for women who are pregnant and for those who may be planning to get pregnant. You look beautiful even 1 week after delivery and it appears you’re body is right where it should be. Thank you for your openness and honesty. Enjoy your son and love on him every chance you get. They grow up so darn fast. Cherish these days with him...congratulations and best wishes on such a beautiful and handsome accomplishment. 💙💙💙

I had the exact same delivery with my first Bianca. At the time I was gutted and sooooo hard on myself for not giving birth naturally. I went on to have 2 more C-sections (6 and 9 years later) as it took me a while to get over the whole experience. My second and third births ended up being AMAZING experiences, just incredible, and I honestly don’t know why I waited! 3 gorgeous boys and 25 years later, I’m actually thankful for the C-Sections (if you know what I mean) haha!! Congratulations on your beautiful little boy. You are a champion!! He’s divine. ?❤️?❤️

Congratulations beautiful! What an unbelievable labour experience you have had to endure as a 1st time Mum. Thank you for sharing & being so honest & raw about those first major adjustments & struggles. There is definitely alot that I found isn't spoken about too & being so open about it makes other Mums truly feel "normal" in what is the most life changing experience!! Congrats again on your healthy & beautiful baby boy 💕👶🍼

It broke my heart how you endured such pain and fear! The way your hands were shaking was just frightening! It made me afraid even the thought of it.. god bless your family dear! I heard that C section despite the surgery it is more safer for the mother and baby!
Hope you get well soon and your cute baby Chalmers?

The pain is incredible but you did it ... with the c-section as it would have been incredibly dangerous ...
Bianca , you will be successful in Motherhood as you are in so many other things ... your life will never , ever be the same as mine hasn’t for 35 years...
I’m so happy for you all !!!!!
