Don’t mind me, I’m just practising my swing and upping my personal best! I was asked today what I do to unwind as a hard working single parent - my kids are now home all day everyday for the 6wks summer holidays and they’re so full of energy! I’m fortunate to be able to work from home and juggle my career around school hours to be there for my children whilst also providing for them, so I rely on school hours to be able to get everything done and the evenings and weekends to catch up on home and family time as I’m sure most parents do too. In my spare time I like to workout at the gym daily, play golf, basketball, yoga, go on long walks and read books outdoors just sitting in the sunshine hearing the birds sing and listening to nature. I adore writing, painting, drawing and discovering new things. So I guess it’s six weeks of adventures and exploring with my little ones for the summer, which makes finding a work/life balance far more difficult but all the more rewarding to be able to have this precious time with my children. What do you do to relax? And how do you balance babies and business my darlings? ------------------------
