Summer Sunday afternoons entail bedside journaling atop my favorite quilt. My mom made this by hand when she was pregnant with me and it is a beloved treasure that I especially enjoy during the warmer weather months. Here in this quiet space I personalized my VN with some stamping, conditioned leather bags with all-natural balm, and spent plenty of time writing. This is my refueling space. With an endless bowl of cherries to boot. I hope the rest of summer lingers ever so slowly. I love its magic, its splendor and simplicity. Summer is pure poetry, living and breathing.

jeanettemstewart Stitches of love to carry you through life...precious indeed. It’s the handmade that makes shapes our hearts with tremendous gratitudes. I stitched a piece for my Mom for Mother’s Day many years ago, it contained a box with our initials in tiny 1x1 cross stitch, which I counted, several hundred and told her each stitch represented a kiss from me to her. I now hangs on the wall as I enter my studio 💖🌸💖 such a lovely way to spend your afternoon. And, I think the cherries are exceptionally delicious this year! 🙌🏻🎉🍒❤️😘
