Among many other absolutely absurd customer service moments, one that stands out is when after multiple phone calls and emails back and forth to find a missing piece of my couch it was confirmed that it “appears all pieces are in”. When I called the distribution center and asked if my full couch was in the customer service rep actually said “well it depends what you define as a full couch. That’s kind of subjective don’t you think?”. No, no I do not think. I think a full couch is defined by the full couch that I ordered. We finally determined that we THINK the full couch is in and so I asked to confirm that it would all be delivered the same day and his response is “no, would you like it to be?”. Yes, I would like my full couch to be delivered all at the same time. Is this not standard? He then proceeded to tell me it was impossible for me to get an email confirming the delivery date for all of the pieces of the couch.. so we shall see if my couch shows up. I’ve read several comments where people have been missing couch pieces for months... @nightmareonwestelmstreet #nightmareonwestelmstreet

@ambershaune That's ridiculous! Unfortunately, I placed my first order with @westelm in May and now I'm paying the price. My delivery was scheduled so I removed (brought to the dump) my existing furniture only to find out on the day of delivery that there was a "mis-tag" and they don't have my couch. They basically had to reorder it and it's scheduled for September delivery. You would think they would expedite my order to make up for their mistake, but no. #nightmareonwestelmstreet

Couches are always great. Just be prepared to wait 5 months for delivery as they lose not only 1 couch (impressive) but the second re-order (astounding) and continually pass the buck of blame around multiple people without ever helping you resolve the issue...sincerely the guy waiting for the couch he ordered mid March.

@summitwatergirl73 @westelm they couldn’t care less! The second they take your money they consider their job done and have zero interest in actually following through with providing you with their end of the bargain (what you ordered). It’s an incredible scam and I can’t believe they are getting away with it
