I have spent the last hour on the phone being transferred, hung up on and calling back with 7 people to figure out a delivery that was cancelled by west elm at 7pm the night before a scheduled delivery. Not one on the phone can seem to figure it out and offer a solution. In fact i am still on hold. This is simply terribly customer service. I am a repeat customer and there has been issues with each furniture delivery. How can this keep going on? If i didnt even initiate a call this morning - would i have heard from anyone at West Elm regarding my order and delivery? Of course payment was promptly taken.

@twisty.locks I am surprised to see all the negative comments as well. About 3 years ago I furnished a home with multiple WE pieces, couch, dining table, bench, dresser and had zero problems. In fact, I accidentally ordered a custom fabric sectional couch with the wrong side chaise and 3 weeks after the order was placed WE customer service took the wrong couch back, refunded me and bought the right one which was then on sale and they gave me the sale price. I wonder if something in management fundamentally changed :(

Wow! I am shocked at the volume of negative comments about the @westelm customer service, delivery, etc. I just moved into a new home and planned to purchase most of my items from the company and now I have second thoughts. It's not worth the potential hassle when I can find cute items elsewhere. I so sad about what I'm hearing. Even taking into consideration that people are more inclined to report negative experiences the shear volume of complaints on almost each post is a little much.

West elm I’ve been on the phone with customer service for over 45 min on hold most of the time. No one wants to take responsibility for the 11 week (so far) wait for my laundry bench. You sure took my $139.00 delivery charge though! #dontorderfromWestelm

It has been months since I’ve been trying to get my refund and all I keep on getting each time I follow up are automated messages. It’s gotten pretty ridiculous and I have never been this unhappy with WE before!
