This is my mood after dealing with your customer service department for what feels like an eternity. Someone ordered a tea pot off of our registry 8 months ago but it went on backorder. I was promised a gift card and to stay on the backorder list until the tea pot went back in stock. The gift card arrives (8 months later!) and I couldn’t use it due to an activation issue. I sat on the phone for 35 minutes trying to get this fixed. I was told I had to go to a store to get a card activated when all the while west elm mailed it to me! That’s one issue. My second issue is that I was charged $199 to ship an item that costs $280. I understand that you guys have policies and one being flat rate shipping but this is absurd. You also charged me the regional fee although I am in the local zone. I am still waiting to hear from someone after being placed on hold and disconnected. I spent over $700 and those are the last dollars that this company will see from me.

West Elm, we ordered a sectional that ended severely delayed. The delivery time went well past the quoted time upon order. We had a cancellation request processed and after consulting with the store manager who verified the notes we ordered a different sectional from you. The new sectional has been delivered but we are now being told the original cannot be cancelled after all by your social media lead. Your products are appealing but your logistics and customer service experience are maddening and unacceptable for a company of your size. Please resolve.

@theleehaven I would report them to Dept of fair trading. I have never seen so many complaints against one company. Every time they post they are inundated with complaints. It’s seems to be the only way customers can expect a response. Social media is a powerful tool. Good luck .

@theleehaven Their shipping fees are insane, especially when so many online retailers offer free shipping. It’s why I’ll never purchase from them again. I bought barstools that went on sale later the same week and they wouldn’t do a price adjustment or answer my DM’s. Good luck!
