BUYERS BEWARE: west elm is a complete garbage company. The only thing they were efficient at was billing us. I purchased several thousand dollars worth of furniture. I was told none of the items would be delivered until after my move in date. Sure enough, two weeks before I moved in furniture started getting delivered to an address where I did not yet live. West elm told me “there was nothing they could do about it”. They recalled one item, which now a month later seems to be lost in space. Their customer service line is completely USELESS. I am continuously hung up on, misinformed, and flat out lied to. I spoke to a manager, Richard, who was abrasive and rude. One item was delivered broken, they returned to replace it but failed to bring the proper piece. I have spent hours upon hours dealing with this company- I will never, EVER consider purchasing anything from @westelm again. I urge anyone considering to steer clear. And no, west elm, I do not want to contact your black hole of a customer service email address, save it.

West Elm, we ordered a sectional that ended severely delayed. The delivery time went well past the quoted time upon order. We had a cancellation request processed and after consulting with the store manager who verified the notes we ordered a different sectional from you. The new sectional has been delivered but we are now being told the original cannot be cancelled after all by your social media lead. Your products are appealing but your logistics and customer service experience are maddening and unacceptable for a company of your size. Please resolve.

@alex___and___er omg I completely agree with all of your points above. I think they are just putting up a show for social media as if they have made attempts to solve an issue. In reality, Alison will never resurface again. I bet they have a customer service bot “responding” with the same blanket proposition. I’m soo exhausted dealing with them . I was gonna order a nightstand and a dresser and will go to anthropology instead and ensure not to deal with west elm and all their sister companies in the future and advise my friends to do the same .

Beautiful lamp. I got a couple of beautiful lamps delivered today along with my new bed from west elm. Not sure what happened but not only I got charged for flat rate delivery but also got charged 10% on top of each lamp - was told that was for UPS delivery yet everything came in on the same truck with my bed. Love the style but disappointed with being double charged for delivery. I was gonna order a dresser and a night stand to compliment my gorgeous bed but now I will reconsider.

@westelm how is this an “elevated” service team, Alison? This is the same email you provide for the other thousands of complaints posted on social media. I want someone who can fix these problems, Alison. Emailing this address would be just more time wasted. Contact me with an honest attempt to problem solve, Alison

@westelm hi. I spent hours on the phone with customer service with no resolution and there’s a case already created. Please refer to my order #391942802789 if you really have intentions to make my experience better. I don’t see why I need to create multiple threads to get an appropriate customer service. Thanks
