“No human being would want to live there,” Donald Trump said of Baltimore on Twitter, implicitly questioning the humanity of the 600,000 human beings who do, in fact, live there—20 per cent of whom are under the age of 18. "How those young people are to find inspiration, cultivate pride in their communities, or gain a sense of their own potential when the President of the United States has called their home unfit for human habitation is a matter that Trump left unaddressed, if that concern even grazed his conscience," Jelani Cobb writes. Tap the link in our bio to read Cobb on Baltimore, the fully American aspirations of the people who live and work there, and the loaded, racist ways in which Trump has used the term “infested.”

seb_cz You cannot blame President Trump for all the problems that exist in the large cities, some are due to the politicians who have been in office for years and who are not allocating funds as they should( they rather put the funds into their pockets.) President Trump has been in office less then 3 years. How can all these urban area have become such problems in such a short amount of time? You do not think through what your hear and maybe you should study some history and spend less time on social media!🤮🤮🤮🤮

@clarissy222 this entire paragraph gave me a headache, i feel dumber having read it. How is it positive saying an american community is infested and how is it a scapegoat situation? do you somehow not believe he said what he said? its deffo not OK to just say your own countrymen and people he directly represents are like rats... someone once did that before, comparing humans to rats and vermin.. im sure you can think who anywho read back what you just wrote outloud plz. thanks have a lovely day

Those who look to a leader with NO solutions but who is ever ready to restate what is wrong with the world deserves to have a 'NO ACTION' leader. Such a FAKE leader will be the first to ignore you when held accountable; lie about credentials when the exact opposite is provable; take credit for other people's work & effort &&&&&& be the FIRST to point the finger elsewhere when blame clearly lies at his feet!

@leanright104 fair tho, i owe ya 10 dollars my friend but do us a favour and read this business insider post on why the comments from trump and Bernie were received very differently. I think youll agree its circled around a very different atmosphere of rhetoric. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/trump-campaign-digs-up-2015-bernie-sanders-quote-criticizing-baltimore-2019-7

@seb_cz “Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you’re in a wealthy nation,” Sanders said during a visit to the city’s West Baltimore section in December 2015, the Baltimore Sun reported. “You would think that you were in a Third World country.”

How can an American vote for a president who says something like this about part of our country? Please, would a Trump supporter explain that to me? No judgement and please reciprocate in a rational manner.
