There seems to be this common misconception about women that we all need saving, a hero or knight in shining armour to whisk us off of our feet and take care of and protect us. Now I can’t speak for all women here, but I can certainly speak for myself! I’m a lone wolf in life and I’ve had to work hard for everything I have - I got my first job at the age of 14 whilst studying. No man has ever bailed me out, taken the burden or been responsible for me and my children so that I don’t have to be. I just became my own super hero in life instead and I believe we should all screw stereotypes and social norms used to define and confine us because we’re more than capable of saving ourselves when the chips are down, never underestimate your inner strength my darlings 💪🏼 ------------------------
