abdulsaadiq Were just listening to Control last night, and after listening to two of my all time favorite songs to reminisce to: “Let’s Wait Awhile” and “Funny How Time Flies”, I’ve always thought of how amazing it would have been to see Funny How Time Flies as a Part 2 video to Let’s Wait Awhile’s Part 1. Would have made for an amazing finale of what could have been. We were rooting for Taimak lol. Nonetheless, my favorite producers/musicians never dissapoint 🐐😎🙏🏽

s_a_n_q_u_a_n Jimmy - You guys made me want to pay attention to production value. 808’s, rubbery baselines, clever sampling, and very melodic song writing. The magic that happened with Janet was other-worldly and as an upcoming singer, it changed my life. Thank you. P.S. Black folk invented rock n roll in the first place so I find it ‘ironic’ that long haired white dudes get to make that decision about a black VERY influential artist.

vistacaribeno Spot on. And @janetjackson is one the greatest ever in music PERIODT. A lot of my favorite artists today, received their freedom from Janet's definition of what it was to be a woman. Which is synonymous with simply a living breathing human. She was unapologetic in life and that translated in music as sincerity, honesty, and authenticity. Forever in awe of you all.
