I remember about 10 years ago when he was still in middle school he was technically “too young” but “allowed” to play with me for a charity celebrity golf ⛳️ tournament in Spain 🇪🇸 We ended up winning the tournament 🏆 (the only one I’ve ever won) and as I remember it he basically hit every good shot for our team. What stood out to me was his positive attitude about the game. If there was a bunker in front of a hole I’d say “be careful about the bunker”. 🙄And he’d turn and look at me and say “I’m good out the sand” before nailing an 8 iron 2 feet from the hole 🏌🏽 I think about that metaphor often and realize that most of the lessons I’ve learned over the last 23 years have been him enlightening me. 🙌🏾 That being said I’m still not good out of the sand 😂 However I’m good at appreciating everything I’ve been blessed with by having him in my life. I hope you enjoyed your birthday today and I’m glad you wanted it at home with friends and family 😎 I couldn’t love you more or be more proud of you.
