Last night Darcy was so excited to see me dressed up for a date night. She helped me get ready and added the scarf from the earlier picture. We were taking the photos (she took this!) and she said, ‘and now without the scarf!’, so I just did it, not planning to share. . I’ve had a day to think. I’ve spent all week with my arms out. Nobody has died as a direct result. The Daily Mail are yet to run, ‘bigger woman wears tube top’ and I haven’t been heckled in the streets. Nobody gives any cares but me. . To Darcy, an 8 year old without the mental scars of being body shamed and without the emotional damage of unrealistic body goals, I looked lovely. . I do look lovely. . It’s hot. Free your arms.
