The big watching over the little. I often think about how I hope they’ll be friends as well as sisters.
.
Darcy isn’t super bothered by Pearl at the moment (aha soz Pearlie) but I know there’s a lot of love there (D once cried when P was kicked by a toddler at church so I like to think she gives a toss deep down 🥰).
.
I think as Pearl grows and can play more they’ll become firm friends. My sister is 11 years younger than me but now we are full buddies and I’d love for my girls to have that.
.
Do any of you have multiple children? How did you help friendships blossom? 👯♀️👧🏼👶🏼🧡 #LPMumLife

My sister and I are about a year and s half apart. We were best friends until I got to Jr high (7th grade in the U.S. so about 12ish?) and then I got “too cool” for my little sis. But when I was about 20 we started to get really close again and we’ve been best friends ever since. I LOVE having a sister so close to me. My older sister is 5 years older, and we never really got close until about 25 or so when we had more similar lifestyles. I think having the playmate when they’re younger to make memories growing up helps that bond grow stronger.

I have four daughter 16,13,11 & almost 9. My eldest now she’s older hangs out with her friends more but when they are all together they get on really well, and they all have each other’s backs, the three younger girls share a room they all get on really well and will play lovely together, I would say my 11 and 9 year old are best friends tho, and always have been they are the polar opposites in everything but they are besties xx and then we have our 10 month old son Theodore who they all mother, they absolutely adore him xx

I have always been the biggest and had to look after my brother a lot as he is 5 years younger than me. Than my dad married a women with two daughters who are also younger than me. At times I hated always having the responsibility but now at 20 I've accepted and embraced the role fully which made us all grow a lot closer. They have always had a deep admiration for me but I was the one who had to access my bond to them. Since you and your sister are such great examples I doubt Darcy won't take on her sister too one day ?

My sister is 5 years older than me. We HATED each other growing up. I remember her throwing a hard cover book at my head, and I got her with a curling iron. It wasn't until I started high school at 14 that I warmed up to her and she realized I was cool and someone she'd like to get to know. Now she's my best friend and she cried apologizing to me a couple years ago for treating me so badly for no reason other than that I was the younger annoying sibling at one point.

My two boys are finally developing a proper bond/friendship although my oldest is still a bit unbothered by his little brother. They do argue mostly over toys but do also play really nice together...it’s only took 18 months ? but I know as little R grows and can play properly they will be firm friends too and double up on me to cause mischief ? darcy looks so pretty here I love her whole outfit

Me and my little sister are 8 1/2 years apart. We went through a stage when she was around 9-11 where we just didn’t like each other. She is 12 1/2 now and we are slowly starting to appreciate each other more. Sure we still have our fall outs but I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world. Sisters really are the best ❤️
