I went to the factory, discussed with Danda in detail and he gave me a cheque of N100,000 that he termed a loan to be repaid back after 4 months of working.

The money was supposed to help me with transport, feeding and any other thing I might need until I receive my first salary.
Danda : Don’t pay for flight ticket with this money, this is meant to be enough for you for the next couple of weeks.
Nobs : But can I make plans to move the car ?
Danda : They are my cars and I have not given you permission to move any of them out of Aba.
Go and start your life like most young people and if you succeed you’d know that you did it on your own.
Nobs : Okay Sir.
Danda : You can always visit Chidiebere and his family but don’t move in with them them,inugo ?
Nobs : Yes Sir. *At this point, I didn’t know why my dad didn’t want me to stay with my cousin but years later I understood the idea behind this. He knew that staying with my cousin will delay me from getting my own accommodation or buying any properties of my own.
Living with family gives you a good foundation but sometimes, it can become your comfort zone.

This only made sense to me years later but hey! I am not asking you to suffer if you have family willing to help you get on your feet*

If you recall earlier on in the story, when Jenny called me, she asked me to bring along my international passport but what I didn’t know was that it had expired and I had just a day left before my trip for me to renew it and to do that , I had to either to go the the immigration office in Owerri or Umuahia.
We drove to Umuahia the next day but they didn’t have papers,so we went to Owerri and they asked that we return in the evening to collect the passport but I was traveling the same evening from Aba.
We then decided to have my cousin, Obinna Ajero, pick the passport, hand it over to an Ifesinachi bus conductor coming from Owerri and I’d pick it up in Lagos at the bus park.

Nma was at home when I finally packed few of my belongings and after she prayed for me, she dropped me off at Milvatin Road to get on an Ifesinachi bus heading to Lagos.
It was then that I met her for the first time and boy did she bang ?

handsum_ni Two years ago I was staying with my cousin when I moved to Onitsha. I felt so comfortable until he came one day and pack all his properties without informing me and was not around no quarrel or fight with him. Was left with an empty room, had to sleep on the floor that day. Next day I buy my foam since then I never looked back. Last year I moved into my own apartment and am not stopping until I build my house. Your father is a wise man. Thanks @noble_igwe for sharing your story
