It was a long night and I couldn’t sleep most of it.
I knew I wanted to go to Lagos and hustle, I knew that Aba was too small for my dream but I wasn’t so sure of what Lagos was going to throw in my direction.
It was different when I was there for my industrial attachment but moving to start life? Definitely a different conversation all together.
The next morning, I came downstairs to have the conversation with Nma before meeting with Danda.
Nobs: Good Morning,Ma.
Nma : Nna, kedu ?
Nobs: O di nma.
Nma : Gi na papa unu ofugo?
Nobs : No, Ma.
Nma : What have you decided ?
Nobs: Nma, there’s really nothing to decide. I have always wanted to try new things and we can always come back to help with the factory whenever Danda wants to retire.

Danda : If you must move to Lagos, then we have to do it my way.
Nobs : That’s Okay,Sir.
Danda : Few things, I won’t be paying for flight for you, you’d take the bus like most people your age and you won’t be staying with Uche. You will have to hustle for your accommodation.
Nobs : No problem,Sir.
Danda : Meet me at the factory to discuss the detail of this job offer.
Nobs : Okay,Sir.

It was after this discussion that I realized that my international passport had expired. I know you would want to know the risk I took.
And it was also my first time on a night bus
