Afamefuna
I was proudly Igbo way before it became fashionable, I have always spoken with an Igbo accent , shouted about my village Umuomaku, told everyone that I grew up in Aba.
I have videos of me fetching water from the stream, pictures in front of mud houses and I have always promoted the Igbo cultural heritage.
I don’t do this with “ My culture is better than yours “ mindset, I do it because I want people to see and love some of the beautiful things about where I come from.
This Friday,December 1st, I’d love to enjoy an evening of watching a masquerade dance competition followed by the viewing of Afamefuna.
