I bought my NC 700's when my version 1 QC35's stopped working earlier this month and all Bose offered me was a $50 discount on QC35 II's. I was pretty frustrated about this considering you'd think for the amount of money you're spending on the QC's they would provide a better solution. Regardless, I decided to give Bose another chance after seeing the new NC 700's and their incredible claim on noise cancellation for phone calls. I received them on Thursday last week and all of the claims were falsely advertised. I couldn't take any work calls on them in a standard office or coffee shop environment without the recipent on the other end constantly complaining about the background noise. After testing them on myself by having my wife call me in a loud environment, the call quality was just as terrible and would pick up all of the surrounding background noise just like the QC35s. The Bose Music app kept having issues as well and would stop recognizing my headphones and not allow my 700's to reconnect again without going through an entirely new repairing process every other day. Unless Bose has some miraculous update in the next few days that fixes these issues, I am returning these headphones. #BoseHeadphones

I have had mine for a week now, the headphone is absolutely excellent in comfortableness, sound quality, ANC, conversation mode, and touch controls. But the app designed for this new Bose 700 needs A LOT of fixes: it pretty much signs off my account daily, requires sign in to account every morning, and after each sign in, I need to go through all of the pairing and connecting steps all over again and most of the time it won’t connect to the headphone. Most oddly, my phone system shows that the headphone is already connected with Bluetooth, but the app still gives error message saying it’s unable to connect. One can not configure the noice cancellation levels and other settings without the app so it is critical to have these bugs fixed.

I was just treated pretty poorly by Bose Customer Service, there is a known defect on QC25 headphones that causes sound to stop working out of one ear. I was offered to pay a ridiculous replacement fee that was practically buying a new one. Do your research and avoid Bose, go for the Sony WX series instead!!!

Your message about the new headphones Noise Cancelling is always the same...keep an eye....please we need more information about the realise in Europe (in my case, Europe). If you don’t have yet, please let us know to buy @beats @sony or whatever but we don’t buy your answer!!!

@bose so quick ..? I pre ordered mine in June 5 I stay in Dallas TX and I see that the Best Buy’s around me have them why haven’t I received my headphone ...?
