I am VERY FRUSTRATED with my current experience with BOSE (non)support!
I live in Brazil and I've got Bose QC 35II as a gift from my wife and kids (purchased in the US) about 10 months ago and it had always worked well until one month ago. First it started to get disconnected during phone calls (it would interrupt the calls for about seconds and then reconnect). Now it has stopped working for phone calls (or skype or any other communication mean). For media listening it works well.
When I try to use the QC35II for a communication call, the sound starts to get broken and wheezing. I can listen to the person talking on the other side, but they cannot listen to me.
I had tried updating the firmware and also resetting the whole thing. Didn't work. Also tried to use it paring on 3 different phones (iphone and samsung), and skype calls on the computer. Always with the same problem.
On the BOSE community, I got the suggestion to check the microphone (recording audio messages to myself) and could confirm that there seems to be a problem with the mic.
Next step was to contact local support in Brazil. They were polite but explained to me an ABSURD situation, base on BOSE support policies (!!!):
1 - if the phone has been purchased for last than one year it will be on warranty period so, if can PROVE the purchase in this period (with the invoice), they can replace the equipment
2- if the phone is not under warranty period, there is nothing to do. It cannot be fixed. The best deal is to buy a new one with a 25% discount, returning the old one.
The situation is *ABSURD*
The phone was a gift for Father’s Day (in Brazil it is on August). So, I had to ask my family for the receipt (which is – definitely - not polite) but they could not find it. So, I am stuck with a very expensive BOSE non-functional product without proper support.
I will highly appreciate a better solution! Please let me know how to proceed!

BOSE NEVER AGAIN!! BOSE NEVER AGAIN!!!!! @bose RIDICULOUS SUPPORT!!! They do not have a solution to a HARDWARE problem on my 10 month old QC35II and want me to buy a new equipment with 25%discount!!! PEOPLE, BE AWARE OF THIS LEVEL OF (UN)SERVICE!!! SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!

Great as with all #bose products. Is it ok to place the earbuds after every workout back in its charging case even though battery isn’t empty; does it affect battery life? @bose

I have the Bose QC 35 I AND NEVER had a problem, they are amazing ❤️ I use them for everything, even for sleeping because of the noise cancel feature which is incredible.

I have these...! DON’T BUY THEM THEY HAVE A DELAY WHEN WATCHING YOUTUBE OR PLAYING MUSIC ON YOUR PHONE THAT HAS NOT GOTTEN A SOLUTION FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS. #FAIL

I think you need to supply smaller ear buds than your smallest version. I had to send them back as they did not fit
