Excited to be a part of JAPAN DAY as their charity ambassador this coming Sunday (5/12)!😊🙌🇺🇸🇯🇵 I had the honor of being their Sakura Ambassador four years ago, which was also the year AKB48 came all the way from Japan.🌸 We (including all performers and visitors) danced to their global hit song “Koi Suru Fortune Cookie" all together, and I remember it just like yesterday.☺️ Swipe for pics!
This will be the 13th annual JAPAN DAY @centralparknyc, and as usual, there will be tons of booths where you can experience all kinds of Japanese culture, indulge in Japanese soul food for *free*, dances inspired by the 2020 Olympics and more!✨ There will also be JAPAN NIGHT where top artists such as MISIA, PUFFY AMIYUMI, HYDE, and Wagakki Band will be performing at their respective venues.🎤🎶

毎年約5万人がニューヨークのセントラルパークに集う、アメリカ最大の日米交流イベント「JAPAN DAY @ Central Park」🇺🇸🇯🇵✨ 13回目となる今年は5月12日（日）に開催され、私はチャリティアンバサダーとして参加させていただきます！😊

4年前に桜アンバサダーを務めさせて頂いた時には日本からAKB48のメンバーも来られ、「恋するフォーチュンクッキー」を会場の皆さんと踊った光景を昨日の事の様に思い出します。

今回も毎年恒例の様々な日本文化が楽しめるブース、無料の日本のソウルフードはもちろん、オリンピックをテーマにした音頭やスペシャルゲストも登場します🙌

「JAPAN NIGHT」にはMISIAさん、PUFFY AMIYUMIさん、HYDEさん、和楽器バンドさんなど、豪華ラインアップでのライブもそれぞれの会場で開催されます。

nahum_dyer That's nice you get to be part of Japan Day. It's amazing how well-rested you are even though you're a very busy women especially with ambassador work. If i were unfortunately back in New York i would definitely attend that event to meet you in person which i still hope that happens someday. Also how much does it cost to attend that event? Keep up the good work.

mahya_english34 I didn'know that kind of event has been held in NYC and see so many people in the pic of 4 years ago, so I'm sooo glad as a Japanese! ?
