Designing prints for @forsuchatimeshop (formerly #ssprintshop) was always something I loved doing (started back in 2012). Creating fun, affordable wall art that was attainable was key. I’m so excited to bring more of that back with our ?Vision Walls? launching soon (basically a fun set of prints on more cost-effective paper that you can decorate your dorm room, hang on your vision boards, office walls etc.) Each set will have encouragement, meaning and purpose to inspire you in your space! A mix of photography, typography and graphics. When we were in Paris last summer, I saw these booths on the street with fun art and it reminded me of my little shop and why I still loved doing what I do, as my side hustle. I constantly crave change, so we’ve loved bringing apparel, stationery etc. to the shop, but creating prints is still my favourite. I love seeing the encouraging words on my walls (and I get so giddy when I see others have it in their homes). It just brings me back to my roots and when I started this business and I’m so glad I always kept it going, even when at times I was admittedly uninspired or busy traveling and invested in other projects. So much has changed with social media, but I remember those simple days of creating quietly in my room and how much joy that gave me. I’ve loved feeling that again.
