Look #39 Felice @felicenova Another feather fantasy from our RUNWAY 2.13.19 MARC JACOBS show. This one also taking the time, efforts and skills of 100 embroiderers working for 7 days, 12 hours per day. The result is a rich and weightless “Herringbone” overcoat of thousands of feathers hand embroidered onto a silk organza base which was then flown (ha) to our studio In NYC where it was mounted, assembled and finally lined in satin duchesse. We always push ourselves and the people we work with farther and farther. It brings us great joy to create pieces that are on par with the standards of the French couture tradition. It’s quality over quantity in these cases.
