I can’t wait to find out, but I can tell you about this castle. @castellodipotentino is an ancient castle built on an Etruscan site which lies in a secret valleiy in one of the last undiscovered corners of ??????? – Monte Amiata. Wine and olive oil production is just one of the things that happen in this land. ⁣ ⁣ In a place of many stories, and much history, what better thing to do than to immerse in ??????? ??? ??????????? ?? ????, and then — why not — submerge in arts, ??????? ??? ???????????? ⁣ ⁣ This is exactly what @tavolamediterranea and I will do from June 30 to July 6, and you’re invited to join us. The incredible food archaeologist will walk us through master classes of Etruscan and Roman cooking (in Republican and Imperial period), and far beyond theory, we will actually cook with ancient recipes.⁣ And last but not least, inspired by the Roman banquets depicted in ancient frescos, we will style and photograph our feast of ancient dishes, plus local Tuscan delicacies. ⁣ ⁣ This is what I’d (unappologitically) call the ???????? ??????? ?? ??? ????. The kind of retreat I would have wanted to attend. One that includes history, science, art, food and show-stopping location in one ever inspiring week.⁣ ⁣ Are you a lover of food, history and Italy and/or know anyone who is? ???? ?? ??? ????!
