Less than 2% of climbers summit Everest without the use of supplemental oxygen. This year, China has limited the amount of climbing permits on the North East Face to address the environmental impact expedition teams have on the mountain. I am fortunate enough to be of the few able to access the North East Face this spring, and will be attempting a new route in alpine style without supplemental oxygen.
I’m so grateful for the positive response you all had with my G2 anniversary summit highlights. In response to this and the upcoming climb, I’ll be posting unseen and uncut footage from my previous Everest expeditions, as well as clips from my current training regimen, as we lead up to my departure from the States and entry into the Himalaya this April.
