Yesterday at Pier59 Studios in Chelsea, No Sesso (@nosessola) presented its Fall 2019 collection. And while designer Pierre Davis may be a newcomer to #NYFW, her reputation precedes her. The Californian designer made a literal splash with her show at The Getty in Los Angeles last August: Models waded through pools of water in the museum gardens while dressed in deconstructed No Sesso denim and frothy tulle. Davis has also collaborated with several artists and big names, including singer Kelsey Lu, (@iamkelseylu) who opened the Fall '19 show, hardly recognizable with her extra-long Rapunzel hair in a neat doobie wrap, and dressed in a peplum blazer and twisted pencil skirt from the collection.
