Happy 50th Birthday, Sesame Street!!!?☀️? One of my favorite blogging perks ever was having the opportunity to take Mazzy to the Sesame Street set back in November. We took pics with the characters, watched Michael Che do a sketch with Elmo and Rosita and sat on the famous brownstone steps that I have known since I was little. I was Sesame Street obsessed as a kid and one of my mom's favorite stories is the time she sent me on my first drop-off playdate. My friend and I couldn't figure out what to do, so her mom asked me what I did at home. I told her that I play with the Sesame Street playhouse (which was true— that was all I did, all day, every day) and her mom said, "Well, we don't have the Sesame Street playhouse." Then I started crying and she called my mom and I went home. The end. Anyway, being on set was my childhood dream come true and I am a little sad that both my kids have now outgrown their Sesame Street phases.
