One thing I love about LA is that neighborhoods are so incredibly different. When I go from Venice (where I live) to downtown (where I stayed a few days recently) it’s like a shock of the senses - a weird mix of NYC and SF and... It’s really like traveling.

But also, because it’s so much like traveling, people in LA get SO lazy ? - me included.
.
So it was really cool to stay a few days in the truly beautiful (dog friendly!) @thenomadhotel while waiting for my renovation to finish, taking in the city, and, well, be very happy to get back to the beach side...
