Why do advertisers pay $5 million for a 30-second #SuperBowl spot?⠀
⠀
No live broadcast attracts as many eyeballs as the @NFL's championship game, with advertisers spending an estimated $408 million on in-game commercial air time last year. Automotive companies accounted for about a quarter of that money, followed by ads for alcoholic beverages.⠀
⠀
Adding to the appeal for advertisers, the Super Bowl's audience of more than 100 million last year was a diverse one, with women representing 47 percent of viewers. ⠀
