How do you LOVE yourself? ?

If you’ve ever read the About Me on my blog you’ll know I’ve been on a path of self love for some time. It’s part of how my entire blog began. This journey is a constant work in progress and I’m always learning more and finding ways to incorporate more self love into my life.

Like choosing organic, ethical beauty products. I’ve recently discovered @kateheussler lip gloss and I’m totally in LOVE! The colour range is so perfect for the minimalist when it comes to make up, and it’s PETA certified cruelty free ??? It seriously makes me feel so good ?

For me self love is about ensuring my love cup is so full I can spread love, light and kindness to those around me. I find this through presence and listening to my inner voice that ultimately always knows what is best for me. It’s about speaking up for myself and knowing my immense value in this world. Each day I practice breathing in love and breathing out gratitude for all that I have. I monitor my self talk and when those painful thoughts arise, as they so often do, I notice them, I allow them, I give them love and I let them go. I refocus my thoughts on what I love about myself. What I’m grateful for. I essentially retrain my brain through repetition with such dedicated focus on what makes me feel good...and that’s all those beautiful loving thoughts where your heart feels like it could explode. This way of living has brought so much compassion into my life for not only myself but all living beings.

Right now my cup is honestly a little bit on the low side and I’m in need of refueling. I’ll be laying low this weekend to do exactly that. And I wrote this as a reminder to myself and to hopefully inspire you all to love the person you are because there is absolutely no one like you. You are pure magic, completely irreplaceable, never forget that.
