LISS ?? I am almost in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and I’m still keeping active where I can. ? I look forward to my morning LISS walks now that I have more energy! For the ladies asking “what is LISS?”, it stands for ‘low intensity steady state’ training. Which means doing low intensity exercise at a steady state consistently for a period of time. One example of this is walking on a treadmill for 30 mins at the same pace. For those of you who aren’t pregnant, LISS is a good form of exercise to do on a regular (several days a week) basis on days where you want to remain active but aren’t doing resistance training. For the ladies who are (like me) ... try and go for a short walk when you feel like you have the energy to!
