How adorable is Baby Zane and how amazing is this breakfast Rebecca’s mom from Taiwan made?! Yes that is fried eggs, tuna stuffed in a pepper, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, yams, and apples...for breakfast ?And look at the presentation!
I get asked a lot about @rebeccalorobertson story. Here’s the quick version: She came to our family as a foreign exchange student at 16, her jr year in high school, by the time the year was up we had fallen in love with her and invited her to come back her senior year. Her mom said “yes,” so she did! At some point during that year, I told someone we had 4 kids. @bellarobb who was just 3 at the time said, “no, we have 5!” counting Rebecca as one of the sibs. She was right! We became family then and there...that was 13 years ago! Since then there has never been a question, we are hers and she is ours. I think it’s perfectly fine to choose your family :) Of course, her mom from Taiwan is still her mom, Rebecca is still close to her, and we all love her, too! She’s here for a couple of months welcoming the new baby, and as you can see, making amazing meals for the new mom, which I’m getting to enjoy too, ha!! The more grandmas to love on this little bundle the better! Amiright?
