I’ve gotta admit, I’ve been seeing these #10yearchallenge or #agechallenge pics and got a little sucked in. These celebrity’s look exactly the same! It’s kind of incredible. How do they do it? Do I look the same as I did 10 years ago? I found this pic of Sadie and I from 2009, and after noting all the ways I’d changed, I had a realization. Look at Sadie, of course she’s changed, she’s grown! Change comes with growth, and growth comes with change. We aren’t the same people we were 10 years ago, inside or out, and that’s a good thing! In our time on television something we noticed is that on tv people don’t like for you to change. It’s actually part of your job to stay the same. It was in our contract that we couldn’t change our hair color or alter our appearance significantly without permission. They needed to keep continuity. Keep things the same. But that’s not real life!! In real life we are all growing and changing, and also aging, and thank God for that...It’s much better than the alternative ? Embrace your changes! It means you made it 10 more years and hopefully you’ve changed for the better, on the inside where it really matters!
