Having a new baby in the family, I can’t help but think of all of those kiddos waiting for parents to call their own. This is a tough reality for kids all across our country. Meet Kemauri, when I asked him what he wants people to know about him, he said, “that I’m going to be something great.” 👊🏼🙌🏻He’s got big hopes and dreams he just needs someone to believe in him! The good news is that Louisiana (I love our state ❤️🎉) just received national recognition for having an increase in placement and adoption for older children, and our town, Monroe 💪🏼, specifically was mentioned for having a rise in TEENS being placed and adopted! Woohoooo!! Y’all, adoption teenagers is hard work, but we are doing it!! This is happening! Praise God!!
