Photo by @Tim Laman. American Kestral comes in for a landing. The Kestral is our smallest falcon in North America, and a very fast little bird. After some unsuccessful attempts to get close flight shots in focus, I had been watching this male enough to know some of his favorite perches. So I made this shot by pre-focusing and waiting for him to come back to this spot. Success! #TL_WildlifePhotoTips.
