??Today my Great-Grandma Vi would’ve turned 99! She would’ve loved that! It’s our first Christmas without her and I sure do miss laughing with her! She was the happiest, most fun, hilarious, youthful spirited person I’ve ever known! In honor of my Grammy I want to share a few bits of wisdom she taught me:
1️⃣ Don’t get mad. It’s bad for you.
2️⃣Always wash your face.
3️⃣Always be thankful. There are people who have it much worse than you.
4️⃣Have as much fun as you can!
5️⃣AND BEST ADVICE WAS: “if someone is making fun of what you’re wearing...just tell them to be glad THEY don’t have to wear it!” ?
There’s so much more I learned from her...she was never mad, grumpy, upset, or mean. Just always happy, thankful and making everyone laugh.
She was and will always be a hero & inspiration to me!
When I was in the hospital with her I told her: “I’ll see you in heaven Grammy!” and she said “...I’ll be waiving a flag” ❤️ PS. I don’t know how the last video got that insane filter! ❤️#happybirthday #on #Earth Grammy because now you’re #foreveryoung
