Something to fall asleep to...
As a tiny little girl...I loved our old piano. The cool feeling of the keys under my fingertips, the vibration I could feel from the hammers hitting the strings. I took lessons but I didn’t like reading music. I just wanted to play the melodies I’d hear in my head. So I’d memorize my songs and play them for my teacher and she’d write the music down for me, which did me no good because I couldn’t read it to play it back! ???? So this melody sort of swirled around in my head tonight as I sat at my piano...which I do sometimes throughout the day. It feels like if I close my eyes it comes together then I just work it out on the keys, film it, because that’s the only way I’ll remember...and now I have hundreds of clips of songs I e recorded onto my phone??? But they usually all come back to me...like an old song echoing in your heart. Hope this might help someone fall asleep? #piano #to #sleep #to
