Tomorrow begins the midway edit of India for @ナショナルジオグラフィック, the first half of part VIII for the @outofedenwalk story. Excited to be working again with the amazing @sadiequarrier remotely from West Stockbridge to DC. Always in fascination, how we take 14,000+ images down to maybe 150, bloodletting over the next two days till 40 or 50 become the lyrics we’ll present on Thursday afternoon. I was struggling to understand this story until reaching the Sutlej, thankful to have spent time along this river in the Punjab last month. I don’t imagine this comfortable blanket will be in the midway, and it’s ok. There’s just something about water that always gives. The quiet moments we cannot live without.
