Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // Black sand beaches are rare in my experience—this one is in the Hawaiian Islands and I am purposefully not naming it so it isn’t overrun. This place will long live in my mind as. The bay of paradise with an angry ocean — at least in this morning. The black sand here is formed by crushed volcanic basalt rock, which also happens to line the sides of the bay. #hawaii #blacksand #remotebeach — Please don’t tag this spot in the comments.
