82 - 85 - 88kg/194lbs ? Today exceeded my expectations by a long shot. About 6 weeks ago I really had my doubts about making it to this meet or really making it back to any meet again; i was still really struggling with squatting 55 kilos without pain in my hip flexor. Aimee said “all we need is to get healthy and train hard for 4 weeks, trust me.” I’m so proud to not only have competed today, but i went 5/6 with a bronze medal in the snatch. Furthermore, today I snatched MORE than what got me my silver medal at nationals back in May and 5 kilos more than i have hit in the gym since my injury. This is the most i have lifted 8 months and it was freaking beautiful. I’m so thrilled. This was a stepping stone to build on for the next one and to come up only 8kg under my all time best total ahhhh - happy is such an understatement. I came off the stage saying thank you to @aimees2cents every time - couldn’t have gotten back to lifting without her. #blessed #strengthfromstruggle
