One could say that in a way, this year I am skipping Christmas, since I'll leave for Iran on the 19th (which is in 2 weeks, holy crap ?). I am so excited about traveling in Iran and spending time with my family (who don't give a flip about Christmas), hence so glad I am skipping the hassle, the stress, the traffic, the burnout. My share of #LabNoonXmas this year is just the 2 Persian cooking classes that I am running this Sunday and Saturday after that (both sold out!). But I should admit I am starting to miss those little things; the tiny lights, the dehydrated slices of mandarines that I make every year, the small and not so small wreaths of pine branches and red wintery berries on branches. The glittery, soft PJs and the smell of all things spicy.
So I am doing my best to fit two festive recipes with some travel stories on the blog, just to feel the magic a bit. The recipes are simple, and perfect for this time of the year. Will keep you updated here.
