Do you keep a gratitude journal?

I try to; but like everyone I can sometimes get caught up in what's next - especially this time of year when presents, gifts and the next best thing are everywhere. That's why I want to take December to focus on what I'm most grateful for. And to start with, there's nothing I'm more grateful for than the three people in the picture above.

Want to be grateful for gratitude? Did you know that gratitude has a stronger link with mental well-being than any other character trait? Seriously, gratitude increases spiritualism, makes us more centered, increases self-esteem, improves our sleep, and increases our energy levels too.
.
And that's something we can all be happy about. A recent study involved having participants maintain a gratitude journal for 10 weeks. At the end of the study those with the journal were a whopping 25% happier than the control group.

So to kick off December, here's to health, happiness + gratitude this holiday season!
