Suzanne Belperron was one of the most important female jewellers of the 20th century.⠀

After being hired by the Parisian precious-stone dealer Bernard Herz in 1932, Belperron left behind the Art Deco fashion of the time, carving organic shapes from hardstones and adorning them with precious gems.⠀

In 1948, this bracelet was featured in a Vogue Paris advert relaunching the Belperron and Herz partnership, following their closure during the Second World War.⠀
