for the first time, i want to tell you about my uncle. he is serving more than nine years in prison for insurance fraud. i don’t have all the right language to understand every charge completely - but i know enough to know that federal prison for that amount of time hurts anyone. two months after he was sentenced and began his time, our grandma passed away. he had taken care of her for the last decade and some. not everyone is perfect - but knowing that someone loves you is so important. i hope to see my uncle in 6 years. i hope for so many things.
