Treading carefully in our #London galleries this morning with French-Algerian artist Adel Abdessemed Axe On, a unique #installation by the artist, created using 156 kebab knives arranged in fifteen groupings and placed as if piercing the floor like tropical plants. Prior to the project, Abdessemed put an open advertisement in Rabat, #Morocco, inviting people to donate their old used knives in return for new ones. The politically-charged piece was first exhibited at the 10th Istanbul #Biennial in 2007, and is now on view for the first time in a decade. Visit tomorrow from 12 - 5pm!
