today is world mental health day.
a day to practice being gentle. really gentle. with yourself, first, and then with those around you. you never know what's going on under the surface, what someone could be suffering from without knowing
how to voice it. it's a time of learning to listen, again, first to ourselves (this is a practice, and not particularly easy!), and tuning into the subtle signals of those around us. it can be scary to ask questions or to reach out for help - so we have a question for you, to break the ice. is there something that you long to be asked, something that could help you be open about what you're going through? how do we start these conversations with each other, when it can sometimes feel like standing at the edge of a cliff, debating whether or not to bear your soul. how do we start? what would help you talk? let's find more ways to break the barriers, the silence, the shame and the stigma. we are in this together. love from all of us at team hearth. #worldmentalhealthday #endthestigma #mentalhealthmatters #hearth
