Get out your Yule log and your eggnog and don your Christmas Onesies! My Holiday Movie, #ChristmasPenPals airs on @lifetimetv on December 15th!! I’m excited for this one because it reminds me of my own love story with my husband. This story dives into the old fashioned tradition of writing hand written letters, and the intimacy, honesty and vulnerability that can be found in communicating that way. My hubby, Peter, is a deep, old soul, and he wooed me by writing me hand written letters for many months before asking me on our first date. I remember the eager anticipation of waiting by the mailbox for his next letter to arrive, and the joy of sitting down with pen and paper to pour my heart out to the man who took the time to really listen to me and hear my deepest passions. I felt seen and known and affirmed by him within the pages of those letters, and they built a strong foundation for our friendship and love for one another. We had so many letters, that my wedding gift to him was a book of all of our correspondence. Swipe to see a boomerang of that book!
