"It was my first visit to Queenstown and wow, what a photographer's paradise. On this particular morning at Lake Wakatipu, the skies were dark and grey and I had little hope of capturing any decent light. Suddenly, red and orange tones appeared through the clouds and literally disappeared after a few minutes. Mother nature is always unpredictable and full of surprises, and when I am out shooting there is never a dull moment.
Everyone has their own style and there is no right or wrong when it comes to compositions, but for this particular image I wanted to create a sense of depth by keeping all the different elements of the image in focus.

Tip: Personally, to avoid disappointment I try not to have any expectations. When I arrive at a location I just go with the flow and make the most of the weather conditions." - @emc_gallery_
