It seems like time keeps escaping us these days but we’ve been doing pretty well with one thing at a time amidst a big move. It feels so good to unpack and rediscover my analogue treasures again. I’m finally taking baby steps to start my journey with Draw Your Days by one of my favorite illustrators and authors @sdionbakerdesign. I’m using my Vagabond Notebook to do so and decided to start with our first night in our new home. Floyd surprised me with a bouquet of sunflowers (one of my favorites) and I wanted to memorialize it in my journal. I used my favorite artist pencil, the Model 90 by @franklinchristoph with the buttery dark 2b lead. I feel so rusty with journaling and drawing in general but it’s also fun to reacclimatize this process again. Here’s to new chapters, enjoying the process, making beauty from grit, and loving and living from the heart. Happy Sunday everyone. Wishing you all a most beautiful day.
