This SUNDAY, we’re starting off the first of our “What Mom Cooked on Sundays” dinners at @189bydominiqueansel. 4 Sundays of family supper menus, each representing the roots and traditions of our chefs. First up this Sunday 9/16: @Anthony_nicholas_stagnaro’s Italian supper. Think: Center-Cut Heirloom Tomatoes and Burrata with champagne balsamic, Arancini with mozzarella and hand-crushed pomodoro; Veal & Pork Meatballs with baguette breadcrumbs; Clams Fra-Diavolo with fire roasted peppers, and Two-Day Lasagna with bolognese, burrata, and fromage blanc. And for dessert? Anise Pizzelle with coffee mascarpone and Amaretto whipped ganache, Marsala, and fresh strawberries (and there’s plenty of wine to go around too).
