Happy International Red Panda Day! Maiya here may be incredibly cute, but as an endangered species, Red Pandas need our help. Their population in the wild has declined by 50% over the last 18 years or so and this decline is only projected to continue. The illegal wildlife trade is partly to blame for their decline for uses such as medicine, meat and being kept as pets.
